LMS Energy is Australia’s largest emissions reducer and the national leader in biogas-to-energy and solar on landfill. LMS requires the services of a full-time Manager – Generation/Electrical to be based in South Brisbane, Queensland.

As part of our team, you will collaborate with the Group Manager - Generation where your role will primarily involve overseeing the Generation team who provide an optimal service to the Operations and Project groups. You will ensure operational field support is delivered by maintaining operational assets to industry standards. As a leader, you will bring strong leadership skills, guiding your team to be accountable for their performance and project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional electrical managerial experience and strong leadership to the Generation Team
  • Apply Electrical aptitude to:
    • Scheduling, recording and managing priorities in line with stakeholder expectations
    • Troubleshooting of reported plant or control system issues
    • Manage reports and co-ordinate the planning and response actions in line with performance metrics
    • Fault finding field equipment, covering power distribution, control circuit schematic diagrams, electrical protection systems, earthing systems and VFD configuration
  • Drive and support collaboration with other internal business group
  • Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure electrical compliance and timely delivery of projects

Requirements:

  • Trade certificate in Electrotechnology – Electrician
  • A minimum of 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Experience in the power generation or automation industry
  • Sound knowledge and application of electrical Standards, codes and regulations
  • Regular intrastate and interstate travel
  • Australian driver’s license
  • Upholds LMS’ company values and culture
