LMS Energy is Australia’s largest emissions reducer and the national leader in biogas-to-energy and solar on landfill. LMS requires the services of a part-time Control Room Operator in Prospect, Adelaide.

As part of our team, your role will primarily involve working within the National Operations Centre over a 24/7 rotating roster, monitoring over 35 power generation facilities to increase safety, improve utilisation rates and provide support by reducing the number of call-outs for local operators.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and monitor the National Operations Centre on a rotating 24/7 roster
• Activate and triage alarms for all power generation facilities
• Analyse, reset and restart where possible and escalate to local operators as necessary
• Manage the system to maintain safety of personnel
• Record all relevant data collected after events
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation across LMS power generation and flaring facilities

Requirements:

• 3+ years Control Room experience
• Technology, electrical or instrumentation background (desirable)
• Ability to troubleshoot control systems
• Australian Drivers Licence
• Upholds LMS’ company values and culture
