LMS Energy is Australia’s largest emissions reducer and the national leader in biogas-to-energy and solar on landfill. LMS requires the services of a full-time or part-time Fabricator/Pipe Welder in Prospect, South Australia.  

As part of our team, you will collaborate with the Supervisor – Manufacturing to bring engineering drawings to life, fabricating and installing high-quality pipework and components. You’ll apply your expertise in GTAW and GMAW welding, stainless steel full purge welds (AS4041), and mild steel fabrication, while fitting pipes up to 250NB. This role is perfect for a hands-on problem solver, takes initiative, and enjoys seeing projects come together from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct bioenergy and flaring facilities, including associated equipment. 

  • Manufacture and assemble biogas plant equipment. 

  • Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. 

  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings and work plans. 

  • Ensure correct implementation of designs and specifications. 

  • Collaborate effectively with employees, contractors, and external stakeholders. 

  • Perform all tasks safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. 

  • Contribute to the wider Projects & Engineering Group and support team success. 

Requirements:

  • Metal Fabrication or Mechanical Fitter trade qualification. 

  • Certificate No. 7 – Gas Tungsten-Arc Welding (GTAW) (desirable but not essential). 

  • Australian Drivers Licence
