LMS Energy is at the forefront of emissions reduction and renewable fuel innovation across Australia. We are currently recruiting for a full-time or part-time Manager – Health and Safety, located in Prospect, South Australia.

Reporting directly to the Group Leader – Health and Safety, this role will play a key role in enabling the Safety team to deliver on key objectives through effective support and collaboration across our sites in Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical WHS advice that supports organisational needs and ensures compliance with governance, legislative, and regulatory requirements, including monitoring changes to relevant laws
  • Establish and maintain effective reporting and assurance frameworks to identify hazards, manage non-conformance and promote a lesson learnt culture
  • Coach and mentor leadership teams on WHS matters, legislative requirements, organisational procedures and processes, and best practice principles
  • Provide advice on WHS training requirements and work collaboratively with the L&D Team to identify external requirements and build fit-for-purpose internal modules that build capability and knowledge
  • Lead and support a team of State Advisors to roll out innovative Safety programs, drive practical solutions and positive change

 

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Health and Safety or related discipline
  • Minimum 7+ years WHS experience in leadership roles, ideally within the energy, construction and/or oil and gas industries
  • ICAM training or equivalent
  • Ability to travel intra and interstate regularly
  • Australian Drivers Licence
