LMS Energy is at the forefront of emissions reduction and renewable fuel innovation across Australia. We are currently recruiting for a full-time or part-time Electrical Engineering Graduate located in Prospect, South Australia.

Reporting directly to the Coordinator – Electrical Engineering this role will play a key role in enabling the Engineering Team to deliver on key objectives through effective support and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply electrical engineering knowledge in the design of renewable energy distribution and generation systems
  • Assist in development of low voltage and ultra-low voltage control panels for gas generators, solar PV, power station and other technologies
  • Assist in development of electrical design drawings
  • Provide assistance and be accountable to lead Electrical Engineers
  • Compile relevant design documentation, including cable sizing and cable schedules
  • Assist in development of protection setting and parameter files
  • Prepare scopes of work, equipment specifications and selections, data sheets, and instrumentation setting sheets 
  • Prepare bills of material, component sourcing and technical reports
  • Assist with the development of commissioning checklists
  • Liaise with contractors for outsourced design work during installation and commissioning phases
  • Apply project management methods in managing schedules and controlling costs
  • Provide technical and fault finding assistance to our operations group
  • Provide on-site commissioning assistance

 

Requirements:

  • Completed or currently studying an applicable Engineering Degree
  • A strong can-do attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-driven and able to work autonomously
  • Attention to detail, advanced problem-solving and time management skills
  • Australian Drivers Licence
